Monterey County Fire Library – Closed

After being in continuous operation for nearly thirty years, we have found it necessary to formally close the Monterey County Fire Library.  It has been a challenge over the past few years to maintain current static resources in an age where many materials are readily available in digital formats from a variety of sources.  With that, effective November 10, 2016, the Monterey County Fire Library has permanently closed.   All existing resources and materials have been donated to the Monterey Peninsula College Fire Technology Program.

The Monterey County Fire Training Officers Association extends thanks to all the fire agencies in Monterey County for their support of the fire library for the past 29 years.
